Santa Fe Fashion Show

The students of Southwest Makeup Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico, were granted an incredible opportunity to showcase their skills and creativity at a prominent fashion event in Santa Fe. With their remarkable talent, dedication, and the guidance of their instructors, these aspiring makeup artists transformed models into living works of art, perfectly complementing the debut of fashion designer Christie Green’s couture garments.

This collaboration not only served as a significant learning experience but also solidified Southwest Makeup Institute’s reputation as a breeding ground for exceptional talent in the world of makeup artistry. The fashion show at the Alexandra Eldridge Gallery witnessed the convergence of two creative forces—Southwest Makeup Institute and emerging couture fashion designer Christie Green.

The students from the makeup institute had diligently honed their craft, and this prestigious event became their platform to demonstrate their abilities to a discerning audience. With their fingers on the pulse of the latest trends and techniques, these talented makeup students were prepared to embrace the challenge and create stunning looks that perfectly complemented the designer's couture garments. Under the guidance of their instructors, these aspiring makeup artists diligently studied the designer's vision and incorporated it into their own artistic interpretations. From avant-garde makeup to classic beauty looks, the students were able to showcase their versatility and adaptability in catering to the designer's unique aesthetic.

We are so honored to have been a part of it! THANK YOU to all of the wonderful models, attendees, and of course, the amazing Christie Green for making it possible!
